Services Provided

Split Timings

As standard we provide timings to catch all the main splits within a triathlon as follows:

Swim - The time it takes the athlete to finish the swim
T1 - The time it takes the athlete within transition typically between swim and bike start
Bike - The time it takes the athlete to complete the bike section
T2 - The time it takes the athlete within transition typically between bike and run start
Run/Finish - The time it takes to complete the run section

All our events include a manual backup at the finish providing results should any chips malfunction or are lost whilst the race is in progress.

Live Commentator Web Feed

All our race timing now comes with live online race feeds giving you the ability to keep the public and distant relatives up to date with all things happening in realtime at the event.

In order to use this service you will require an internet connection at your location, we have found that most USB data cards work very well with our system.

How does it work?

Timing Chips

All competitors are allocated a timing chip and neoprene ankle strap at race registration, this is to be worn generally on the left ankle for the duration of the race, this will be collected in by event staff at the finish line it is essential to wear these on your ankle to work with the timing mats no chip no results.

Timing Mats

We place timing mats at key points within transition that capture the times as competitors run across the mats, collectively these times are fed into our race HQ and formulated by our specialist software, giving live instant results and sompetitor data whilst the event is taking place.

Results

All results can be viewed in real time whilst the event is taking place, competitors family and friends can view exact split timings by visiting the results station, generally located near the finish. We have a large LCD T.V. allowing competitors to enter their race number and see full results in real time on the T.V. Screen.

We also supply a small printer allowing competitors to print out their results and take them away.

All results will be available online a few hours after the event where competitors can search times and even print out professional event certificates.
